So everyone loves a giveaway. In the last giveaway announcement post, I did mention there were more coming. But did I mention how many more? 🙂
Inna of Thewallina and other creatures is having a series of Japanese Sewing Books giveaways because she is about to move from lovely Japan to London. Since she won’t be able to bring all of her books with her, she has very generously decided to give them away to other Japanese Sewing Book fans. Some of the books are brand new but some have been used to draw patterns. She has also very kindly asked me to run this giveaway together with her. Thanks Inna 🙂
There will be 5 giveaways in all, following the schedule below
May 1, Wed
May 4, Sat
May 7, Tue
May 10, Fri
May 13, Mon
Giveaway #1 is this brand new book Happy Homemade vol.3.
For more pictures you are welcome to visit Amazon and check the preview. There are more pictures in this Flickr photostream, please check it out.
The conditions are simple: just leave a comment below or at Inna’s giveaway post – http://thewallinna.blogspot.jp/2013/05/giveaway-no1.html about anything that crosses your mind – the state of international affairs, the book you are currently reading, today’s weather forecast or your current sewing project. At the end of each giveaway period Inna and I will draw one winner from those who have commented on either blog (maximum two entries per person, for leaving a comment on each blog).
The giveaway will close on Friday May 3rd, at 23:59 Japanese time. The winner and the next book to be given away will be announced on Saturday, May 4th.
Good Luck! And remember to note down the schedule of the other giveaways so that you will be back to participate in the next one!
So exciting about the giveaway!
Please enter me, I am inspired to sew again after watching the Great British Sewing Bee – a new book will be a perfect reason to dust off my sewing machine and start making again!
This is what’s crossing my mind: Right now I’m excited about the English paper piecing I’ve been doing for a quilt I’m making out of Liberty print scraps. I’m also really excited for a concert tomorrow night of Strauss’s Four Last Songs. I’m also excited about this giveaway! 🙂
I would love to participate as I love japanese sewing books. But I am French, so I am not sure I can.
Anyway, I am turning 44 today, so I am sending this comment in case.

At the moment I am sewing a petticoat out of tulle – the tulle is so fiddly to work with because the cut edges stick to each other and to other things! But it’s coming along well. Thanks for hosting this giveaway!
After making a very cute little short jacket for my daughter from the only Japanese sewing book I own, and being pleasantly surprised at how well it turned out, I am inspired to do more. From autumnal Melbourne, Clare
